Balham & Tooting Youth Celebrate Creativity: Eid Card Competition Winners Announced!
Balham & Tooting Youth came together this Ramadan for a heart‑warming display of creativity, imagination, and youthful talent through our Youth Eid Card Competition—and the results were nothing short of inspiring.
This year, children from across our community picked up their pencils, paints, and digital tools to design vibrant Eid greeting cards that reflected the joy, beauty, and spiritual warmth of Eid al‑Fitr. From colourful skylines to beautifully illustrated mosques and lanterns, each submission carried its own unique touch and heartfelt message.
After thoughtful consideration (and plenty of “Masha’Allahs” along the way!), we are delighted to announce the three winners whose designs truly stood out:

A Celebration of Community & Creativity
We extend our heartfelt thanks to every child who took part. Your artwork brought joy to our community and reminded us of the enthusiasm and brilliance of our youth. Each submission was full of colour, hope, and meaning—an expression of the blessings that Eid brings into our homes and hearts.
We also hope that all families enjoyed a peaceful and joy‑filled Eid al‑Fitr.
May Allah accept our fasting, our prayers, and our good deeds during Ramadan, and may He fill our homes with mercy and happiness. Ameen.
Thank You, Young Artists!
To every participant: you made us immensely proud.
We look forward to seeing more of your creativity in future youth activities and competitions at Balham Mosque & Tooting Islamic Centre, Insha’Allah.
Stay tuned for upcoming programmes and events—and keep creating!
