29th Ramadan Announcement: Hilal Sighting & Possible Eid Dates

Today's date: 18 March 2026 corresponding to 28 Ramadan
As we approach tomorrow, the 29th of Ramadan, we will be seeking the positive or negative sighting confirmation of the hilal (new crescent moon) of Shawwāl, which will determine the first day of Eid al‑Fitr.
How Eid Will Be Determined
After Maghrib tomorrow, we will follow confirmed and credible moon‑sighting reports:
- If the hilal is sighted, or reliable positive reports are received, Eid al‑Fitr will be on Friday, 20 March 2026.
- If the hilal is not sighted, and/or we receive reliable negative observation reports, we will complete 30 days of Ramadan, and Eid will fall on Saturday, 21 March 2026.
This night carries the anticipation of transitioning from devotion to celebration.
May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and every effort we offered in this blessed month.
