Orchard Primary School
Orchard School is promoted by Al-Risalah Education Trust and is the first Voluntary Aided Muslim Faith School in the borough of Lambeth, established in September 2006. The School is committed to an inclusive education and strive to provide high quality teaching and learning for all children, with Tarbiyah (child development) from an Islamic prospective.
Orchard School also places high value on establishing close links between home and school so that it can effectively work together to achieve the best for each child.
The School also closely work with Lambeth Children Services and have close links with some of the local schools in the borough.
Parents are encouraged to share their child's progress at open evenings, through consultation with their child's class teacher, by viewing their child's work and through an annual written report.
Parents are always welcome in the school. There are opportunities to share in events across the year such as assemblies and parents are kept informed about school life through the school's newsletter.
The prospectus can only offer a glimpse into the life of the school. Every year the Schoo hosts an Open Evening for prospective parents and pupils, and visits can always be arranged through the School office.
